Day 1

Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival time, overview of the city or diner and relax time.  Overnight in the hotel.  

Day 2

 Mongol sand dune

The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one location. You will visit Ovgon Monastery on the  Khogno Khaan Mountain. Stay overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 3

Kharkhorin " Erdenezuu monastery"

The symbolic ruins of Kharakhorum, its monumental walls (400 m of length) with 108 stupas, surround the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, Erdene Zuu, built in 1586. It used to house 62 temples and 10,000 lamas in 1792. Turtles carved from the stone marked the boundaries of the complex. Stay overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 4

Terkhi white lake

Terkhiin Tsagaan lake is one of the best places in Mongolia for hiking . After breakfast, drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan lake is one of the most beautiful lake in Mongolia.  Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D) 

Day5

Full day horse trip around Terkhi white lake. Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D) 

Day 6

Telmen nuur

Drive to Telmen nuur approx. 278 km. Overnight in tent. (B+L+D) 

Day 7

 Khyargas nuur

In the early morning we will drive Khyargas nuur around 300 km. Khyargas nuur is one of Mongolia’s biggest lakes, covering 1,406 square km. It is 75 km long, 31 km wide and 80 meters deep. The lake surface is at 1,028 meters above sea level. Overnight in tent. (B+L+D) 

Day 8

Olgii

Breakfast and chill out. After lunch drive to Olgii, is capital of Bayan-Olgii province. Overnight in hotel. (B+L+D) 

Day 9

Milky white river

Tsagaan river has white-colored water. After the confluence of the Tsagaan and Khovd rivers (distance 500meters) the watercolor of the Tsagaan River changes. Stays overnight in Kazakh family, learn their lifestyle and try Kazakh traditional meal. (B+L+D)

Day 10

Monument of Tsagaan Salaa

You will see many kind of Deer-decorated stones, monuments on the way to Tsagaan Salaa. This complex consists of about 10.000 paintings. This monument was registered as a World heritage from Unesco in 1996. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Day 11-13

 Altai Tavan Bogd

Explore the area around Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain range, travel to icy river. Stay one night at icy river. Visit real Kazah family, learn their way of life and stay there one night.

Stay overnight in tent and kazah family. (B+L+D)

Day 14

Achit nuur

Achit nuur is situated between Kharkhiraa mountain and Turgen mountain, at 1464 meters above sea level. It offers stunning sunsets and sunrises and good for fishing. The lake is home to flocks of geese, eagles and other birdlife. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Day 15

Uvs nuur

Uvs nuur is gigantic inland sea in the middle of the desert. And it is large enough for you to stand on one shore and not see the other side, creating the impressing that you have indeed reached the sea. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Day 16

Altan els Oasis

Boorog deliin els lead to Altan Els (Golden Sand),part of Uvs nuur Strictly Protected Area. Altan els is another wonderful area for wildlife. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Day 17

Tes

After breakfast drive to Tes. We will stay there one night. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Day18

Tsagaan Uul

Hit the road to Khovsgol, crystal clear the most beautiful lake in Mongolia. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Day 19-21

 Khovsgol lake

Lake Khuvsgul, is over 260m deep and 136m long. It’s Mongolia’s second largest lake and contains nearly 2% of the world’s fresh water. Great for fishing, the lake is teeming with fish such as lenok and sturgeon. Horse trip around Khovsgol lake,visit reindeer family and go on the boat. Three overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D) 

Day 22

 Uran togoo

Today will be the occasion for you to explore the area and chill out. In the afternoon you will have opportunity to climb Mountain Uran Uul to have look a crater.  This extinct volcano lies near the road, and stretches from Bulgan town to Moron. On the top of the volcano is a crater, 500 to 600 meters wide and 50 meters deep, filled with a small crater lake. Overnight in nomad family (B+L+D)  

Day 23

 Amarbayasgalant monastery

This monastery, one of Mongolia’s architectural wonders and one of the three main centers of Buddhism in the country is located 5-6 hours drive from Ulaanbaatar. It is set in some beautiful surroundings near the mighty Iiven river, at the foot of Mount Buren-Khaan. Overnight in tourist camp.  (B+L+D) 

Day 24

 Ulaanbaatar

In the afternoon we will leave Amarbayasgalant Monastery to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight in the hotel.
