 This tour will show you the contrasting faces of Mongolia’s two most popular destinations – the forested mountains and clear blue waters of Lake Khövsgöl, and the vast open space of the Gobi Desert. Despite the changing landscape, the nomadic life remains unchanged, be it yaks in Khövsgöl or camels in the Gobi, animals are central to survival in Mongolia and you will be able to witness first hand some of the age old traditions of the herding life that are still very much in use in Mongolia today.

| Day 2 |
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar at 05:45. City Tour. Welcome lunch with Mongolian Resorts staff. Tumen Ekh Ensemble. Dinner at Wong Chinese Restaurant. Overnight in Chinggis Khaan Hotel. |
| Day 3 |
Flight to the Gobi Desert (Dalanzadgad). Drive to and visit Yolyn Am Gorge. Lunch on site. Various activities in the area. Drive to and visit the Red Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag). Overnight in a ger camp nearby. |
| Day 4 |
Morning trek to the Cliffs and visit with historical lecture. Lunch in a ger nearby. Drive to and visit Khongoryn Els Sand Dunes. Camel ride. Overnight in Juulchin Gobi 2 ger camp. |
| Day 5 |
Drive to and visit Öngiin Khiid Monastery. Drive to and visit Saykhan-Ovoo village. Overnight in Khongor ger camp. |
| Day 6 |
Drive to Kharkhorin (Karakorum). Lunch in the steppes. Overnight in Orgoo ger camp in Kharkhorin. |
| Day 7 |
Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery. Lunch in Kharkhorin and city tour. Overnight in Orgoo ger camp. |
| Day 8 |
Drive to Khustai Nuruu National Park. Lunch in the park. Search for the Takhi wild horse. Diner and overnight in Khustai ger camp. |
| Day 9 |
Drive to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch at UB Deli restaurant. Check in at Chinggis Khaan Hotel. Free afternoon. Diner at Marco Polo restaurant. |
| Day 10 |
Flight to Khövsgöl Lake (Mörön). Drive to Khatgal. Free afternoon on the lake. Overnight in Toilogt ger camp. |
| Day 11 |
Various activities in the morning. After lunch, visit Tsaatan people (reindeer people). Overnight in Toilogt ger camp. |
| Day 12 |
Drive back to Mörön and flight to Ulaanbaatar. Drive to Gun Galuurt National Park. Lunch at Steppes Nomads ger camp. Attempt to view Argali sheeps in the park. Overnight in the ger camp. |
| Day 13 |
Various activities in the area and visit a nomadic family. Overnight in the camp. |
| Day 14 |
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Check in at Chinggis Khaan Hotel. Lunch at Ikh Mongol Restaurant. Further city tour. Dinner at BD's Mongolian BBQ restaurant. Overnight at Chinggis Khaan Hotel. |

Flight Ulaanbaatar-Berlin on MIAT (OM135). |
