This tour will show you the contrasting faces of Mongolia’s two most popular destinations – the forested mountains and blue lake, at this place in 1189, a ceremony was held of Genghis Khan was crowned King of the Hamag Mongols, world energy center, the vast open space of the Gobi Desert, steppe waterfall and the wild horse Przewalski. Despite the changing landscape, the nomadic life remains unchanged, camels in the Gobi, animals are central to survival in Mongolia and you will be able to witness first hand some of the age old traditions of the herding life that are still very much in use in Mongolia today.

Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to
hotel. Depending on your arrival time, overview of the city or diner and
relax time. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2
Huh
Nuur of Kharzurkh
After breakfast, we will drive
east outside of the capital and reach Huh Nuur of Kharzurkh located at the
foothill of Har Zurh Mountain. It could be ruin of the palace where Chinggis
Khan was proclaimed as a king of Kamag Mongol in 1189. Stay overnight in ger

Day 3
Kherlengiin Huduu Aral
The
site of Ikh Aurag (palace) of Chinggis Khan is on this plain. This site is
closely connected with the historical work ‘The Secret History of the
Mongols’, because it was finished exactly here.Stay overnight in ger camp. (B+L+D)

Nomad Family
Todayis a quite long driving. In the evening you
will stay in Dariganga family. A chance to know real Dariganga people’s
lifestyle and traditional culture and horse riding. Overnight in family. (B+L+D)
Day 5
Altan Ovoo and Human Rocks
Altan
Ovoo is an extinct volcano of Dariganga, 1,354 meters high and worshipped by
the Dariganga people, who are ethnic group Mongolia. The volcano was
proclaimed as a mountain for ‘Big Worship’ in 1913 by decreeBogd Khan. There’s a rock ‘Zulegt’ with an
inscription is located south of Naran soum. One can become acquainted with
the life of the Dariganga on the way. Stay

Ganga Lake
Ganga
Lake is fresh water lake at the northeastern edge ofthe sand dune belt of Moltsog els. The lake
is famous for its nature and the home to thousands of migrating swans, from

Day 7
Shiliin Bogd Mountain and Talyn cave
Shiliin
Bogd Mountain is one of the many extinct volcanoes and the highest peak of
Sukhbaatar province. The extinct volcano is sacred for Mongolians. Drive to
Talyn Cave is the largest icy cave. It’sicy even summer. Stay overnight in tent. (B+L+D)

Baruun-Urt
After
breakfast, drive to Baruun-Urt is capital of Sukhbaatar province. Take a
shower and relax.Stay overnight in hotel. (B+L+D)

Sainshand
Sainshand is capital of Dornogovi
province. Prepare for tomorrow tour. Stay overnight in hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 10
Khamar Monastery
‘Khamar
Monastery’ iswell known its energy
center of the world. 19th Century Mongolian a precious enlightener, a known
poet, his Holiness Danzanravjaa had established ‘Khamar Monastery’ at the one
of those beautiful view sites of Gobi region in 1822.Stay

Demchigiin khiid
Demchigiin
khiid is one of the most unique monasteries in Mongolia, it shaped lotus
flower. Another interesting thing is there is a huge phallic stone. Usually
women ask husband and child. Overnight

Day 12
Yolyn Am
Yolyn Am is a dramatic canyon -
its valley layered with ice for much of the year - which can be up to 10m
thick in winter! The high cliffs provide a haven for wildlife in the
area, such as ibex and argali sheep.
An early start this morning for
our drive south to the desert canyon of Yolyn Am, named after the huge birds
that live there. You might be lucky enough to spot some ibex or argali
sheep picking their way over the rocks above you as you walk through the

Day 13,14
Khongor Sand Dunes
One of the biggest dunes in the
Gobi, Khongorin Els, also known as the ‘singing dunes’, are about 180km long
and in some places reach a height of 300m – providing a great view over the
desert, but requiring a lot of hard work to get to the top!
In the morning you’ll drive to the
famous Khongorin Els sand dunes. Perhaps you will visit a nomadic family this
morning, try your hand at milking a camel, or drinking camel ‘airag’and camel
riding. You will ride a camel along the dunes, or take the tough walk up the
dunes to catch fantastic views of the desert. Overnight stay tourist camp.

Day 15
Bayanzag
Bayanzag was given the name
‘Flaming Cliffs’ by paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews who was first to
discover dinosaur eggs in this area in the early 1920’s. The area is
now renowned worldwide for the multitude of dinosaur finds, many of which are
on display at the Museum of Natural History in Ulaanbaatar.
We drive north today to Bayanzag,
otherwise known as the ‘Flaming Cliffs’. There is time to look around -
perhaps even time to find you a dinosaur! Overnight Bayanzag ger camp.

Day 16
Ongiin Khiid
Today you will head off to the Gobi desert, a long
drive full across the friendly Ovorkhangai and the rugged Dundgovi provinces.
You will have dinner in Ongiin monastery and explore the area. Stay overnight

Day 17
Kharkhorum-The
ancient City and Erdene Zuu Monastery
We will drive to Kharkhorum to visit Erdene Zuu monastery.Situated on the
banks of the Orkhon river, the site of the imperial capital Karakhorum was
chosen by Chingis Khaan in 1220.The capital city of the largest land empire
the world has ever known. Today almost nothing remains of the once-great
city. The nearby Erdene Zuu monastery was the first Buddhist monastery built
in Mongolia, constructed using stones and bricks from ruins of the ancient
city in 1586. Stay overnight tourist camp.

Orkhon Waterfall
Drive to Waterfall
was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes
about 20 thousand years ago. After lunch explore the area and chill out. Stay

Day 19
Ugii lake
Ugii lake is 1337 meters above sea level in
Arkhangai province. It covers 25 square kilometres, and is rich in Perch and
Pike. Boating and fishing. Stay overnight tourist camp. (B+L+D)
Day 20
Khustai National Park
Khustai Nuruu Nature Reserve - was established in 1993 to preserve
Mongolia's wild Takhi horses and the steppe environment in which they live.
The Takhi is probably the most recognized and successful symbol of Mongolia's
diverse and unique wildlife. Also known as Przewalski horse (named after the
Pole who first took an interest in them), the Takhi used to roam the
countryside in great herds. Stay

Ulaanbaatar
Drive to Ulaanbaatar. Visit the Gandan monastery
and the National history museum. Shopping for souvenirs and cashmere is
optional.Overnight in hotel.

morning. Flight or Train.
