Founded in 2001, Mongolian Resorts is an integrated tourism company offering unique adventures and experiences across the country, and supported by its various businesses including a luxury resort, an American style delicatessen restaurant, a purpose built guest house, serviced apartments and two offices. The company has approximately 30 employees and has grown from a small outfit to become one of the leading tourism companies in Mongolia. The company was also the first company to receive funding from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation in Mongolia. Funds from this loan are being used to build Mongolia’s first luxury ger camp in Khairt Khaan, an area just 35 kilometers northwest of Ulaanbaatar.  The resort is expected to open in May 2008.
